Environment Design 'Jennifers Room'

'Jennifers room' is an environment designed for the YouTube animated series "Doltunate".
Focused on cold shadows, warm lighting from a rising sun and a cluttered but 'tidied' living space this environment focuses on the life of a young adult 'Jennifer' who is organised but far to busy to clean the spiderwebs growing around her camera or to de-clutter her bedside table. The room features parts of the character from favourite movie posters to drawings scribbled on the wall when she was very young.
Here I used the game 'Minecraft' as a base to establish base shapes and core elements of the setting before moving on to my rendering technique of sketching, grey scaling and painting for a final result.
